MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Late 2013/Mid 2014 Repairs & Upgrades
The MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013 was launched in October 2013. It shipped with a Core i7 2.0GHz Haswell CPU. 8GB Memory soldered onto the logicboard which was upgradable at the time of purchase to 16GB. It uses the same 2880×1800 Retina display as the previous model but due to a different webcam connector they are not compatible. It was standard equiped with a 256GB SSD drive that was upgradable.

When installing this LCD panel make sure the white sheet and back cover have no damage as it might shine through when turning on the display. Alternatively there are compatible drives available from Transcend that are both cheaper and have a 5 years warranty and come new in box. Lastly we can use an adapter and use a standard PC M2 PCIE Drive which will be a much cheaper solution and can be bought upto 1TB. With the right tools you can replace the drive within 15 minutes, or, visit our technician. We will do the backup of your data or the clean install of the OS free of charge!
