MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15 Repairs & Upgrades
The MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch Late 2013 until 2015 was changed quite a bit internally with a new logic board design and a single fan instead of dual fans. It was available with Core i5 and i7 CPU options still at 1600MHz bus speed. 4 or 8GB memory was soldered on to the logic board. Proprietary drives where available from 128 upto 512GB for later models. The trackpad for this model is “button type” for the 2013/14 and changed to be multitouch for the 2015 model.

The replacement can be done without removing the complete logic board and takes about 30-45 minutes. This is the LCD only for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15. This is a difficult replacement that will only succeed if you have experience. Make sure your metal backcover does not have any dents before ordering this repair. The time we need to do this replacement for you is 2-3 days. Although you can plan an appointment, if you just drop it off there is no need to plan in advance.
Battery for MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15
The battery for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14 and 2015 are compatible, although the capacity for the 2015 model is slightly higher. The replacement is difficult since the battery is glued into the housing. It is best to let our tech guy do this for you and plan an appointment.

The keyboard for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15 is not so easy to replace as it is pop-nailed to the frame like all other keyboards produced after 2012. If you have no experience it is wise let our experience technician do this. This repair takes about 1 hour. You can also buy the part from us and do it yourself. The trackpad for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15 is difficult to replace as it is glued under the battery. Also note the trackpad for the 2013/2014 model is different then the 2015 model. I changed from a "button" model to an "electronic" version in the 2015 model. Make sure to order the correct part in our shop as we link only to the 2013/14 model! The I/O board for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch 2013/14/15 includes and SD Card Reader, 1 USB port and a display port. It is connected to the logic board via an integrated power cable and separate data cable. It also includes the connector for the Airport card. The installation is quite difficult if you have no experience since the logic board will have to be removed to attached the power cable.
