MacBook Air 11 inch Mid 2012/Mid 2013 Repairs & Upgrades
The MacBook Air 11-inch 2012 featuring USB 3.0 was launched in June 2012. It featured Intel’s Ivy Bridge 1.7GHz Core i5 CPU running at 1600MHz. The SSD drive, which is not compatible with the previous model, was available from 64GB upto 512GB. It also featured a backlit full-size keyboard.

Display Assembly MacBook Air 2012/2013
The display assembly for the MacBook Air 2012 is not the same as the Macbook Air 2013, please make sure to order the correct version! The installation is pretty straightforward. Replacement time is about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
LCD Only Display MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
This is the LCD only for the Macbook Air Mid 2012/2013 A1465. Due to the complexity of the repair our installation service is 2-3 days. If you want to perform this cheaper display fix, make sure the metal display assembly is not damaged or it will not be possible to install it properly.
Battery for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The battery for the Macbook Air 2012/2013 A1465 you can replace yourself with the included screw drivers. It takes about 5 minutes to do. Not feel secure doing it yourself? Please plan an appointment with our technician, he will do it for you and add new cooling paste to the CPU free of charge as well!
Keyboard for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The keyboard for the Macbook Air Mid 2012/2013 A1465 is difficult to replace as it is pop-nailed to the frame. If you have not done this before it might be better to let our repair do it for you. The repair takes around 1 hour. If you feel confident enough to do it yourself, you can buy the part in our shop. Make sure you order the correct keyboard version. The UK return key is L shaped and does not fit US-Thai keyboard frames!
Trackpad for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The Macbook Air Mid 2012/2013 is easy to replace by yourself. It will take about 15-30 minutes of your time. After removing the battery it is easy to remove the trackpad. Not sure you have the skill to do it yourself? Plan an appointment with our repair technician via our handy planner.

The fan for the Macbook Air Mid 2012/2013 you can swap yourself with the right tools. The replacement will take about 20 minutes of your time. Your other option is to have out technician to do it, you can use our handy online planner to set up your appointment.
I/O Board for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The Macbook Air Mid 2012/13 Magsafe Board controls charging, audio and a USB and Audio port. If you have no audio, try to replace this board as it holds the Audio IC's. The replacement takes around 20 minutes of your time and is reasonably difficult. Not sure you can do it? Plan an appointment with our Technician and we can do it for you.
Important: the 2012 model uses a different I/O board please make sure to order the correct one as our link point to the 2012 model. Just search in the shop for 2013.
Speakers for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The speakers for the Macbook Air 2010/2011 are easy replaceable by yourself with the correct screw driver. It will take our technician about 15 minutes of your time. Please make sure if you order it for DIY to order the correct side.
SSD drive for MacBook Air Mid 2012/2013
The SSD drive for the Macbook Air Mid 2012/2013 is available Apple Original (Used) or Transcend OEM. The installation cost about 10 minutes of your time and is pretty straight forward. If you do not feel confident our tech can do it for you. We will install a clean OSX for you free of charge or backup your old data to the new drive if requested. Please check the availability before ordering. Drives are available from 128GB upto 512GB.
Important note: the 2012 model is different from the 2013, please order the right part.
