Mac Mini Mid 2010/Mid 2011/Late 2012
The Mac Mini Core 2 Duo was launched in June 15 2010. It featured an Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU and had 2GB 1066MHz Memory installed that is up-gradable to 8GB. It had a 320GB 5400RPM HDD installed. This model also came with a DVD drive and had a GeForce 320M Grahics chip onboard. The later 2011/2012 models did not have a DVD installed.

This 2nd drive upgrade kit is needed if you want to install another drive in your Mac Mini. It is a great idea to get a smaller SSD drive and run your OS and applications from it, while storing all your files in the older large SATA drive. Memory Upgrade Mac Mini Mid 2010/Mid 2011/Late 2012
The Mac Mini Mid 2010/Mid 2011/Late 2012 can be upgrade with memory up to 16GB, 2 x 8GB per slot. Standard it comes with 2 x 2GB totaling 4GB. Before upgrading RAM we suggest to install an SSD first. This will have a much greater impact on the speed then upgrading RAM. Upgrading RAM in the Mac Mini is very easy you can do it yourself within 15 minutes with the right tools.
