iMac 27-inch Late 2012/Late 2013 Repairs & Upgrades
The basic model iMAC 27 inch was launched in October 2012 with a Core i5 2.9GHz. I featured a new housing that tapered down to a 5mm edge. Gone is the easy replacable magnetic display, instead this display is glued to the frame making it very difficult to upgrade/repair. This model shipped with 8GB of 1600MHz DDR 3 memory in the standard configuration. It has a 1TB SATA drive installed and uses a Nvidea GeForce GTX 660m graphic chip with 512MB memory.
